 The Law Offices of Eric D. Wewers P.L.L.C. was formed on November 1, 2003, but began in 1990.  The experiences of working with prominent Texas lawyers like Carlisle DeHay and Gary Elliston shaped the professional principles which guide The Law Offices of Eric D. Wewers P.L.L.C.  Working for 11 years defending various companies such as Armstrong World Industries, Inc, Emerson Electric Co., U. S. Gypsum Co., Hercules Chemical and others provides The Law Offices of Eric D. Wewers P.L.L.C. with a wealth of experience to represent both individuals and small businesses. 

 The Law Offices of Eric D. Wewers P.L.L.C. utilizes experience and legal proficiency that generally only comes from large firms.  Eric’s experience is based on years of representing large multi- million dollar corporations.  This experience benefits individuals in that Eric knows how large corporations function.  He has the knowledge to take the actions necessary to protect the rights of his clients and pursue justice.  The experience Eric has gained can also be used to guide and protect small businesses to achieve the dreams of their owners. 

 The Law Offices of Eric D. Wewers P.L.L.C. represents clients of all needs.  The typical forms of legal representation include all areas of personal injury, nursing home abuse and neglect, wrongful death, pharmaceutical injuries, forming companies, contracts, business consulting, business litigation, and administrative and regulatory work.  The firm regularly appears in both state and federal courts through out the state of Arkansas . 


Mr. Wewers  graduated from the UALR School of Law in 1990.  After graduation he moved to Dallas , Texas and began working for the prestigious firm of DeHay & Blanchard.  There he worked under the guidance Carlyle DeHay and Gary Elliston.  His work experience was in the areas of complex toxic tort litigation, legal negligence defense, product liability defense, pharmaceutical defense and medical malpractice defense. 

In 1992, Eric left DeHay & Blanchard to form the law firm of DeHay & Elliston.  There he continued his areas of practice.  His responsibilities included managing the litigation for two clients for the entire state of Texas .  This involved over 40,000 plaintiffs in toxic tort cases.  His responsibilities included every aspect of litigation including trial work.  During this time, Eric tried cases in Dallas , Corpus Christi , San Antonio , El Paso , Waco , Austin and Houston.

 On January 1, 2001 Eric resigned from the partnership of DeHay & Elliston to open the Texas office for the nationally known firm of Wilkes & McHugh representing victims of nursing home abuse and neglect.  Eric’s areas of practice focused on representing those victims of nursing home abuse and neglect in both Texas and Arkansas .  Eric managed over 30 cases and had total settlements totaling in excess of 25 million dollars.  In October, 2002, Wilkes & McHugh mover Eric back home to Little Rock to work in their office here.  There he was responsible for cases in both Arkansas and Texas .

On November 1, 2003 The Law Offices of Eric D. Wewers was formed.  The office is located at 415 N. McKinley across from Catholic High School .  The focus of Eric’s practice is still nursing home abuse and neglect.  However, Eric also represents a number of small businesses in a variety of matters including start up, contracts, litigation and business consulting.
