years defending various companies such as Armstrong World Industries,
Inc, Emerson Electric Co., U. S. Gypsum Co., Hercules Chemical and

P.L.L.C. with a wealth of experience to represent both individuals and
small businesses.

Mr.
Wewers graduated from the UALR School of Law in 1990.
After graduation he moved to
Dallas
,
Texas
and began working for the prestigious firm of DeHay & Blanchard.
There he worked under the guidance Carlyle DeHay and Gary Elliston.
His work experience was in the areas of complex toxic tort
litigation, legal negligence defense, product liability defense,
pharmaceutical defense and medical malpractice defense.
In
1992, Eric left DeHay & Blanchard to form the law firm of DeHay &
Elliston. There he continued
his areas of practice. His
responsibilities included managing the litigation for two clients for the
entire state of
Texas
. This involved over 40,000
plaintiffs in toxic tort cases. His
responsibilities included every aspect of litigation including trial work.
During this time, Eric tried cases in
Dallas
,
Corpus Christi
,
San Antonio
,
El Paso
,
Waco
,
Austin
and
Houston.
On
January 1, 2001 Eric resigned from the partnership of DeHay & Elliston
to open the
Texas
office for the nationally known firm of Wilkes & McHugh representing
victims of nursing home abuse and neglect.
Eric’s areas of practice focused on representing those victims of
nursing home abuse and neglect in both
Texas
and
Arkansas
. Eric managed over 30 cases
and had total settlements totaling in excess of 25 million dollars.
In October, 2002, Wilkes & McHugh mover Eric back home to
Little Rock
to work in their office here. There
he was responsible for cases in both
Arkansas
and
Texas
.
On

was formed. The office is
located at 415 N. McKinley across from
Catholic
High School
. The focus of Eric’s
practice is still nursing home abuse and neglect.
However, Eric also represents a number of small businesses in a
variety of matters including start up, contracts, litigation and business
consulting.
